“Where you live, shouldn’t determine

whether you live or whether you die” – Bono

With more than 335,000 annual births of children with congenital heart disease in Africa, we need your help! By supporting The Children’s Cardiac Foundation of Africa, you are ensuring that Africa’s children will be given the appropriate care they need to recover from debilitating heart conditions and lead healthy lives. Help Us! Help Them!

It’s All Heart!

Little Pine Tree

The Children’s Cardiac Foundation of Africa is proud to work with Little Pine Tree, a social enterprise, empowering women from different backgrounds. In May 2015, Goeun Bae started a toy making workshop at the Parkhurst Recreation Centre in Johannesburg. Hoping to create a space where unemployed women could meet and learn a practical skill, Goeun teaches the women to make beautiful and unique toys using the art of amigurumi. Beneficiaries of The Children’s Cardiac Foundation of Africa each receive one of these hand-made toys while recovering in hospital. Individuals who make cash donations in excess of R1000 can request a toy for themselves or choose to have the toy donated to a beneficiary of the Foundation on their behalf. Not only will you bring smile to a child, you will also help the women at Little Pine Tree generate an income to support themselves and their families. For enquiries, please contact funding@tccfa.org.
