Tee-Off For A Great Cause
The Children’s Cardiac Foundation of Africa invites you to its 1st Annual Birdies for Babies Charity Golf Day. We encourage you to participate as a sponsor and/or player in aid of vulnerable South African children with congenital heart disease. All player proceeds raised through this initiative will be used to fund open-heart surgery for 3 babies who require ventricular septal defect closures.
Tournament Details
Registration from: 9:30am
Tournament format: Four-ball alliance (2 scores to count)
Field size: max. 144 players
Non-golfers and beginners can join a PGA qualified coach in a 2 hour non-golfers clinic (golf club hire included)
What’s Included
18 Holes of Golf (with cart)
Water and sports drinks throughout the day
Grab-and-go light meal & refreshments at the halfway house
Birdies for Babies commemorative shirt & cap
Prize-giving dinner with local comedian as the evening entertainment

09h30 – 12h30 : Registration & welcome tea & treats
11h00 – 13h00 : Two-tee start off the 1st & 10th tees
15h15 – 17h30 : Non-golfers’ clinic (at MECC driving range)
18h00 for 18h15 : Dinner & prize-giving in the Kingfisher Room
For the Players
Team up with your favourite Sharks or Dolphins players (available on request)
Put your golf skills to the test on the 7th hole
by betting against the pro, Micky Hough in “Beat the Pro” (cash bets only)
Missed putt? Right swing, wrong club? Do-over with max. 2 mulligans per player (available for purchase on registration)
