1 Introduction
1.1 This website, available at https://tccfa.org (Website), is owned and operated by the Children’s Cardiac Foundation of Africa Trust (Foundation), a charitable trust that funds medical treatments for children in Africa with cardiac diseases.
1.2 These terms and conditions (Terms) govern the use of the Website by you, as a user, and may be periodically updated or changed by the Foundation without notice. Using this Website is an indication of your acceptance to be bound by these Terms and continued use of the Website will mean you accept that you will be bound by any updated or revised Terms. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, please do not use this Website.
2 Use of the Website
The Website provides you with information on:
(1) the Foundation and the nature of its work;
(2) current developments and news relating to the Foundation and its activities;
(3) the children who have been helped by the Foundation, through photos and/or videos;
(4) the stakeholders involved with the Foundation and their involvement;
(5) how to contribute to the Foundation and its activities, by providing information on how donations can be made and information on other initiatives that you could get involved with to fund medical treatments for the children in Africa; and
(6) how to contact the Foundation.
3 Website content
3.1 All reasonable steps are taken to ensure that the information on the Website is accurate and up to date. The Foundation does not however warrant or represent that the content or information displayed, including any medical opinion, is accurate, complete and/or current.
Where the Website features content related to heart diseases or defects and medicine and medical practices, procedures and developments related to heart diseases or defects, that content is intended to provide information only, based on specific circumstances, and should not be regarded as a substitute for taking medical advice
4 Login Credentials
4.1 Where applicable, access to your account will be through a username and a password (Login Credentials). Your username will be your email address and your password will be selected by you. You must keep your Login Credentials secret and only you may use it. If you allow another person to use your Login Credentials, the Foundation will not be liable for any harm, loss or damage you suffer. The Foundation may also deactivate your account.
4.2 You may not use the Login Credentials of another user of the Foundation.
4.3 The Foundation will assume that any access to your account through your Login Credentials is by you and you will be liable for any losses, damages, costs, claims, penalties and judgments arising from the use of your Login Credentials. You must notify the Foundation immediately if you become aware or reasonably suspect that another person has access to or has used your Login Credentials, and you must change your Login Credentials immediately. If someone else uses the Website with your Login Credentials, you must also take reasonable steps to reduce the chances and severity of any loss or harm being suffered by you as a result.
5 Protection of personal information and confidentiality
5.1 The Foundation collects and processes personal information through and in connection with the Website, in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for more information.
5.2 The Foundation will take all appropriate and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal information provided by you (as explained in detail within the Privacy Policy, the use of the internet to transmit information carries inherent risks over which the Foundation has no control. You therefore accept any risks of transmitting information through the Website.

6.1 The Foundation’s full and abbreviated names and logo are the intellectual property of the Foundation or its licensors and may not be used in any way without obtaining the Foundation’s prior, written consent.

Unauthorised (commercial or unlawful) use, reproduction, modification and/or distribution of such material is strictly prohibited and constitutes an unlawful infringement of the Foundation’s intellectual property rights.
